Achievements is a Duolingo feature rolled out in the beginning of April 2017 for some users and rolled out to the rest beginning in November 2017. However, I eventually turned off the competition features, as it became too time consuming to keep up with people earning 10,000 XP (study points) per week. In fact, I was able to maintain my position in the Diamond League for three consecutive weeks. I would do French, my parents would try Korean, and my brother would do Mandarin.ĭuring the first four months of my Duolingo streak, I participated in the platform’s leagues and exceeded the recommended daily minimum of 15 minutes - by a lot. For every lesson you complete, you’ll usually earn 10 XP. The most common way is the good old fashioned way: completing lessons. Duolingo Leagues Does anyone else think that it is sort of stupid to blow through one's language course just to rank high in the leagues Especially considering that there is really not much of a reward at the end. If you tap on one of the unit castles in your lesson tree, you’ll see a typical score for learners who have completed it. So on September 1st 2022, I completed my first Duolingo French lesson.
